Dear Potential New Members,
Together we have the amazing privilege of serving as your 2026 recruitment chairs! We are so excited to welcome you as you begin your search for a place to call home on Grounds. Through Chi Omega, we have found lifelong friendships and a sisterhood that has helped us grow into the best versions of ourselves.
Recruitment can feel overwhelming at times, but please know that Chi Omega values authenticity above all else. Our hope is that you feel comfortable, confident, and truly yourself from the moment you walk through our doors. Each member of our chapter is unique, yet together we create a sisterhood that is loving, well-rounded, and deeply supportive. As we like to say, there’s a Chi O for everyone!
We are excited to meet you and help you navigate the recruitment process! We have fallen in love with Chi Omega and can’t wait to tell you about the impact it has had on our UVA experience. FORMAL RECRUITMENT
Formal Recruitment at the University of Virginia is a rewarding and exciting process. UVA participates in a deferred recruitment program, with Formal Recruitment taking place in January just before the start of classes. We are so excited for you to join the Panhellenic community here at the University of Virginia and we look forward to meeting you during recruitment!

RECOMMENDATIONS
Although not required for consideration as a member of our chapter, Lambda Gamma does receive introductions to potential new members from Chi Omega alumnae each year. We prefer online official Chi Omega Recruitment Information Forms (RIFs) which can be filled out through Chi Omega Everyday.
